Plant-Based Chocolate Cups

Raw Chocolate Cups

Great as a healthy sweet snack/ vegan dessert

  • 1 1/2 cup coconut oil (extra virgin cold-pressed)
  • 1 cup sifted cacao powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup Almond butter (unsweetened)

Filling

  • 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch Himalayan salt
  • 1 drop Optional – You can add one drop doTERRA essential oil of peppermint or a minty flavor and help your digestion! or one drop of Wild Orange essential oil. It goes great with chocolate! (doTERRA peppermint or wild orange oils are safe and edible)

Topping

  • 1/2 cup coconut shreds (unsweetened)

Mix in a bowl: the coconut oil with the cacao powder and carob powder, almond butter

In a smaller bowl mix flax meal with maple syrup and salt. 

Pour the flax meal mixture into the coconut oil mix. And mix thoroughly. 

Add one drop of either doTERRA peppermint or wild orange essential oil

Sprinkle some coconut shreds

Freeze the chocolates for 15 min. Later store in the fridge. Enjoy!
